Mistex is a privacy-first, non-custodial cryptocurrency swap service, run by and for people who believe financial privacy is a fundamental right. These Terms describe what we offer, what we don’t, and the handful of things we ask of you in return.
You give us a destination address for the coin you want to receive; we generate a one-time deposit address for the coin you send. Once your deposit confirms on-chain we route it through liquidity and pay out to the destination you specified. Funds only live in the system for the duration of a single swap. There are no user balances, no “accounts with money” on our side.
Every swap on Mistex works without registration. A cabinet account is an optional add-on: if you choose to create one (by email + password, or by signing a challenge with your Monero address) you unlock per-swap cashback, referral commissions, and the integrator API. If you don’t create one, nothing changes about the swap itself.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for whatever laws apply to you locally.
Rates and fees are displayed before you initiate a swap. Float rates follow the market until your deposit confirms; fixed rates lock the displayed amount for a short window and include a small premium for the lock.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once a swap has been paid out, it cannot be undone. Always verify the destination address before sending.
Cabinet balances (cashback credit, referral earnings) are denominated in USD and withdrawn on request to a crypto address you control. A first-time withdrawal address has a short cool-down before it can receive funds, as an anti-compromise measure. Optional two-factor authentication and single-use recovery codes are available from Settings.
Don’t try to break the service, scrape it at a rate that impacts other users, or abuse the referral program with artificially generated traffic. We reserve the right to cancel referral payouts that originate from obvious fraud. That’s about the extent of it.
We run Mistex to be available around the clock, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Blockchain congestion, upstream liquidity provider outages, and routine maintenance may cause temporary delays.
Mistex is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We’re not liable for losses resulting from network delays, price volatility, user error (wrong address, missing memo/tag), or technical failures outside our control. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount of fees paid to us for the swap in question.
Mistex runs a native Tor v3 hidden service in addition to the clearnet site. You are free to use Tor, VPNs, or proxies. We don’t rate-limit, flag, or otherwise discriminate against traffic for using them. Cookie and login state are scoped to the origin you arrived on.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by bumping the date at the top of this page. If a change materially reduces the privacy baseline, we’ll say so in plain English at the top of the revised version, not bury it in a diff.
